Come join us for a private flight over some of
Virginia's most beautiful and historic landscapes. Enjoy the
panoramic view from our balloon as our experienced pilots guide you on
your aerial adventure. We spend one to one and a half hours in the
air, but passengers should plan on spending 3 hours with us for
the whole experience. All flights culminate in the traditional
champagne (or beverage of your choice) toast. We also
include flight certificates and digital photographs as part of our
flight package. We offer sunrise and sunset flights daily, weather
permitting.
Your morning or afternoon flight will begin with
being picked up at your accommodations or meeting us at a designated
location. Passengers are an integral part of the balloon experience and
you even get to participate with the assembly of the aircraft as well
as aid in the inflation. After our ground crew has taken some pictures,
we lift into the air and float with the wind. After an hour or more, we
set down gently into a suitable area where our ground crew awaits us-
taking pictures of course! It takes approximately half an hour to
deflate and disassemble the balloon, load it up and get back to the
launch site where we perform the traditional post flight toast. We make
a copy of your flight photographs for you on the spot and the pilot and
crew endorse your flight certificates documenting your flight.
